The Yellow Rocoto, a beloved Capsicum pubescens variety, is celebrated throughout South America under various names—Locoto in Bolivia, Rocoto in Peru, and Manzano in Mexico. Native to Mexico and now widely cultivated across the region, this unique chilli is easily recognised by its thick-walled, apple-like pods that mature from green to a brilliant yellow.
