The Padron Pepper, or Pimientos de Padrón, traces its roots to 16th-century Spain, where monks introduced it from South America. Flourishing in the Padron region, it soon became a culinary staple. Renowned for its prolific yields, this variety produces abundant pods measuring around 7 cm in length and 3 cm in width.
