Originating from Trinidad, the Orange 7 Pod Pepper is celebrated for its abundant yields of golf ball-sized, bright orange pods. Growing on a compact, bushy plant that thrives in partial shade and stays under one metre tall, the pods resemble habaneros in shape. They mature from green to vibrant orange, revealing a thick, juicy flesh with a sweet flavour, the classic 7 pod taste, and a potent heat. The name comes from the claim that just one pod is enough to spice up seven pots of food.
