Widely recognized as a powerhouse of intense heat, the Naga Morich originates from Bangladesh. Its name, meaning "snake or serpent chilli," aptly reflects its fiery character. The pods are thin-walled and wrinkled, often varying in shape but generally wedge-like. They ripen over time from deep green to bright yellow or orange, eventually turning a rich red around 120 days after transplanting. The plants grow vigorously, reaching heights of up to one meter, and are distinguished by their ovate, pale green foliage.
