The Naga Jolokia PC1, belonging to the Capsicum frutescens species, is often wrongly identified as a true Naga. It carries a moderately high heat level with a sharp capsicum taste and faint apple-like hints. The plant is a vigorous producer, bearing large numbers of slender pods typically 5–7 cm long and about 1 cm wide.
